Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub of the United States is an actress, comedian, and activist. After moving to America she was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents. She began her career as a child actor. She is most famous for her appearances on AT&T television commercials. In these commercials, Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and then 2020 (since 2020). In addition to her commercial appearances, she also appeared as an actor in the series on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). In addition she was a series regular on Yahoo! Vayntrub was also cast as Squirrelgirl on Marvel Rising in 2018 following her role in the pilot TV series called New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish, born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. She and her parents fled antisemitism at the age of two. They settled in West Hollywood. At the age of five she started appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials. This was partly due to the difficulties in the family's finances. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. However, she quit school following her sophomore year. She obtained a GED and went on to get a Bachelor of Arts (Communication) from the University of California San Diego. She was a member of improv comedy group the Upright Citizens Brigade.
